So, the Tai National Park, where one of the last primary forests in Africa grows, is recognized as a world heritage and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This is a state with an ancient history and amazing architectural monuments. Here is the greatest shrine and invaluable monument of architecture – the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, one of the largest cathedrals in the world.
Ivory Coast is also famous for its extensive plantations of cocoa, bananas, pineapples and coffee. This country is a world leader in cocoa production and holds a leading position in the amount of coffee grown.
The culture of Ivory Coast is inseparable from the daily life of its population. Much attention is paid to folk dances, songs, customs and traditions, which are stored for many centuries in a row.
At the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada the rich folklore and modern traditions of the Republic of Ivory Coast will be presented by the National Ballet of Ivory Coast.
The main goal of the team’s work is to preserve the choreographic heritage and develop the modern artistic traditions of Côte d'Ivoire.
