The Togolese Republic is a magnificent African country, a wonderful world, unfamiliar and attractive. This state is located in West Africa and is washed by the waters of the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean. Togo is located practically at the equator. That's why it's always hot here. It presents all the diversity of nature in Africa-sandy beaches, tropical forests, low chains of mountains and valleys of rivers and lakes. And the numerous lagoons and groves of coconut trees, alternating with huge baobabs, give this country an originality and picturesqueness.
One of the main attractions of the Togolese Republic are the nature reserves and national parks of Oti-Keran, Fazao-Malfakassa, as well as the Koutammakou area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The culture and folklore of this unique country have long traditions and are an integral part of the life of the people of Togo. At the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada their richness, beauty, and diversity will be presented by the Ballet Group of Togo «Sitsope».
Its performances are based on traditional songs, music and dances of the peoples of Togo, which are very diverse and distinctive.
